I believe that God in His infinite power and justice decided to send the coronavirus to weed out all the bad people in the entire world. The number of people that have to die is preordained and He is the only One that knows that. When that number has been accomplished, the pandemic will stop automatically without human intervention. With regard to the people who have been cured from the virus, they are the ones that God has warned (via the virus) to change their ways. They are not bad, but they could be better.
