GRUDGE

To have a grudge is not so uncommon. Many people have, at one time or another, had issues with other persons that created anger, frustration, resentment, pain and many other feelings that they could not handle properly. The real problem occurs when the person holds onto the grudge for many months or even years. People who hold a grudge may not realize that they are only hurting themselves. You can get sick from it or it can seriously affect your wellbeing.

Is there a cure or solution for this? Of course. You can start by meditating about what created the grudge in the first place. It would be a good idea to know the person’s history, and you may discover that the person had no control over the behavior that produced the grudge for you. So, if you discover that, then you can forgive the person, or at least understand the problem they had with you that brought forth the grudge you feel. Analyzing very carefully without being biased against the person before you start might help the whole thing.

  1. There is a current Grudge being pushed, a grudge of anger against “oppressive whites”. The Grudge affects people in the most destructive ways, eating away at their souls, infecting them worse than any virus. The cure is forgiveness. Can you forgive someone who has wronged you? Can I forgive the actions of people who have done harmful things to me? Or can I dwell on their misdeeds and allow seeds of hate, discontent and anger grow and overtake thoughts of peace and contentment? 🤔
