The majority of people believe that a good-looking person is also a nice person. Unfortunately, one has nothing to do with the other. Just because someone is blessed with pleasant features doesn’t necessarily mean that their personality is also pleasant.

Many actors and actresses possess very attractive physical features but their personalities and the way they act off-screen are anything but. That is probably a result of being treated as better than others by their teachers and peers based on their looks and as a result developing a sense of superiority and entitlement, traits that are not deemed attractive in our society.

What we really are is a combination of our parents’ genes, and that includes their personalities as well as their looks. And that is something we cannot control.

You’ve probably heard the old saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” and that certainly is good advice. Looks don’t necessarily determine behavior, and we shouldn’t make snap judgements based solely on how someone looks.
