THE WAY PEOPLE WALK

Everyone walks. We learn to walk at an early age. Some learn earlier than others but no one does not. Very simple, or so it seems. I believe the way you walk is strictly influenced by your genetic makeup. Some people walk with their feet straight forward, others with their feet pointing to the sides. They move their arms straight, back and forth, to the sides, or not at all. No one tells you how to do this. You just kind of do it unconsciously. Some people, like me, walk with their hips swinging back and forth. I was once told that I didn’t know how to walk. But who’s to say? Everyone walks differently.

I would love to hear your comments regarding this observation.

  1. Mr. Oozing, I have colleagues who ask who’s gene decide this. Is it like inheriting the hairline of you mother’s father? Or, is it a combination of both parents or your grandparents? I think I need video of a couple of generations to see how true this is, or if “nurture” has any say into how one walks. 🙂
