From an early age we hear about in conversations the words soul and spirit.When we are old enough,our parents  send us to church (any denomination)to learn about God and his teachings from the Bible that we believe is the God himself.

The priest or minister or evangelist tell us that everyone has a soul and spirit. If you have faith and believe their teachings  you have no doubt about all the things they instruct us.Personally, I can not tell for sure that I have a soul or spirit. First  of all, I do not know where in my entire body the soul or spirit reside.I never tried to communicate with either one. I only can talk what I have in my brain.I have asked few people if they have had any talk with their soul, they tell that I am some kind of a crazy person! Someone  tell me that  is your feelings.I don’t know . I have feelings of love, hate,hunger and pain .According to the Church,when a person dies the soul will go to heaven or hell depending on how you have lived your life.They do not mention the spirit because the spirit will go back to God and the spirit is not affected by anything wrong you have done! All this is very hard for me to accept.Why? it does not make any sense!

Religious people tell me that I must have faith and if I don’t believe I will go to hell! I believe that my soul is my breath! If I am breathing  I am alive. When I die I had taken the last breath me and my soul are dead! yor soul will not exist any more. I do not believe that when I die will go any place!

What I believe  is in the resurrection of the body and soul when God ends everything and creates a new heaven and a new earth. All the people  will live in peace and harmony for ever and ever.How? With God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

 

 

 

Just a reminder:  in winter you do not need to use the A/C button and should make sure it is turned off.  If you leave it on, even if you turn the dial to heat, the A/C continues to work, which takes 10% of the power of the engine and causes unnecessary use of the compressor.

Money is spendable!

I believe it is impossible to be an atheist due to the fact that, an atheist will profess with utter conviction that they do not believe in God or a god, but by simply saying that there is a G(g)od that they don’t believe in, they are admitting the existence of a G(g)od.  In other words, they are saying there is a G(g)od but they don’t believe in him.  Ridiculous!

I believe that the fifth amendment should be erased from the Constitution. Why? It only serves to protect the GUILTY PARTY. If any individual is a 100 percent honest and truthful there is no need to plea any fifth amendment because it only serves to cover up some dishonest or deceitful conduct of the individual. If the person is really innocent and truthful, they should not be afraid to face any judge or jury of any kind.

AUTISM is  a very rare brain condition that affects a very low percentage of individuals.  For the time being no doctors or medical institutions specialize in research which could determine the cause.  The only thing for sure is that the person affected by it cannot be a normal part of society. There are many degrees of autism; some are very mild, and some are quite severe. The ones with severe conditions cannot learn to speak or talk.  It seems like the person is not there, and it is heartbreaking!  Why Autism? What is the reason it exists? It is a Mystery!

HOMOSEXUALITY  (gays or lesbians as we usual call them) is also a very difficult  condition that a lot of so-called “straight” people cannot accept.  Many people are homophobic without knowing why. I believe that homosexuals are born, not made, or they become one one under certain conditions (like been rejected by a girlfriend or wife). It is not a conscious choice.  Why homosexuals? The reason it is a Mystery!

MENTAL SICKNESS is a very different and dangerous mental condition that affects a good percentage of individuals.  Fortunately, the majority of mental patients are not critical enough for us to be concerned about. Usually we tend to call them weirdos or oddballs. Our society tolerates them with some reservations. People with a high degree of mental sickness are the most dangerous of individuals. These are the mass murderers  and the ones that will kill a parent, siblings, or even their own spouse or children.  I believe that terrorists are in this category.  They use the excuse of the zeal of their extreme beliefs to justify the torture and murder of innocent people, but in reality they are mentally very sick. Why mental sickness? The reason? No one knows for sure! It is a great Mystery!

There is peace in silence!

The human body was created to be active. It is very important to do exercise a minimum of 30 minutes daily.  This will keep the body in shape and free of any ailments (unless genetically induced).  Any kind of exercise is fine: swimming, brisk walking, rowing, aerobics, bicycling, etc., etc.  By doing so you will eliminate visits to the doctor or hospital.  Also, if you eat the proper foods, such as greens, fruits, and nuts, you do not need any kind of vitamins (see my post about vitamins). And finally, deep breathing is quite important. This should be done in sets of three throughout the day.

One of the most important things about the human body is to be aware that the body will not forget what you do to it.  If you smoke, you will have lung problems and you could develop cancer in any part of the body.  If you drink to excess you will have problems with the liver and other organs.  If you do drugs you may one day OD and die.  To summarize, whatever you do to your body, it will get even with you.  If you take care of your body, it will be to your benefit, if you don’t, it will be to your detriment.  Period.

Everyone would like to look good (handsome, pretty) because we want people who look at us to be OK with our appearance.

Women, in general, can enhance their looks with cosmetics (which are in abundance) for their faces, hair, hands, and so forth.

The big cosmetic companies, knowing very well about the desire of women to look great, have produced thousands of products that they convince women (and men too), via Madison Avenue, that they must have in order to look acceptable to other people. So actually they are brainwashing people to buy their products.  And the cost of these products is quite expensive, but the ego is more important to most people than the money.

Men, on the other hand, want to look OK, but usually they are more interested in improving their bodies by doing all kinds of physical exercise to build up their muscles so they can be proud of them.

Everything we do in this aspect is nice and dandy, but…

The problem resides in the fact that people are somewhat critical of those who may have a blemish or something that is not to their liking.  People somehow blame the not-so-good-looking, as if they could change the way they look.

The reality is that people’s appearance is strictly genetic.  The way we look is given to us.  We have no control over it whatsoever. So to blame or criticize someone for something over which they have no control is not only absurd, but cruel.
