The devil, as we all know him, originated in the Bible. To make it simple, we are told that in Heaven God had created a myriad of angels for his service but one of them (who had a lot of pride) thought that he was better than God and decided to rebel against God and take over. We also know that God kicked him out of Heaven and send him and his admirers (about a third of the angels) to the earth!

At this point my brain is not capable of understanding this event. To think logically, I believe that the devil had not a clue of the power of God and that he could take over or do better than God! I also cannot believe that God was not aware that an uprising was happening!

For this reasoning I think that God knew of the devil BEFORE the devil came to be! The question I have is: Did the devil create himself by his own pride or did God create him?

Who could answer this dilemma? I would be very grateful to whomever could tell me the facts!

In this time and age, watching the TV news is almost like watching an R-rated movie. It has all the ingredients to upset your moral standard. Corruption, lawlessness, violence, lying politicians, racism, murder, and on top of that, we have the COVID-19 virus, which has disrupted all peoples’ lives. And, there’s no solution for it, at least for the time being.

This fellow hadn’t seen his old friend in many years. And one day he meets him at a mall and he says to his old friend “Hey, how are you doing?’ And his friend says “Fine, how about you?”

Man: “Well, my wife left me for another fellow.”

Friend: “Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that. How do you feel?”

Man: “Not so bad, but I still owe him money.”

The two most important things in a person’s life are: (1) Be content with who you are and (2) Be content with what you have!

This will also bring you happiness.

Of all the books written in the world, none of them mention the phrase “eternal life” as a true fact. According to the Bible, eternal life is given to the people that have been good and deserve it.

I personally believe that eternal life is very possible but it is impossible to comprehend the word eternity or infinity. How can anyone understand that one trillion years in eternity is actually less than a millisecond? Also, it is hard to know what all the conditions are in order to achieve eternal life.

I have many many questions about it. For example, if one is experiencing eternal life, the first question would be: “At what age will the eternal life begin?” And then “will I get older?” Followed by “will I always be in a state of blissfulness?” “Can I get sick?” “Will I feel pain? hunger? thirst?” “Will I wish for anything?”

There are so many questions that it blows my mind! “Will I have a watch?” “Will I experience the passing of time? daytime? nighttime?” Etc., etc. What we do not for sure is if we will go to eternal life as a human being or a soul or spirit. I believe spirits do not need anything to be alive.

Being a human that has been transformed to live forever we will need many things. For one thing we cannot age! We will not experience pain. We will be perfect because you need to be perfect to live forever!

It is very important to wear a mask to protect yourself and others from contamination from the virus. Some people think that they don’t have to wear a mask because in their feeble minds they think that the government is infringing on their freedom or liberty. What they fail to understand is that the government is trying to protect them from dying from the coronavirus infection or, to put it simply, trying to save their lives. People who do not wear a mask when shopping or in a crowd are STUPID!!!

I believe in God. I also think that almost everyone on earth believes in Him, except someone that believes in the Big Bang. I am the person that loves to think about religion, mainly the Christian one. Since I was a child (when I was seven or eight) I used to read the Bible. I also remember going to church and asking the priest “If God knew that Adam and Eve were going to disobey why did He let them do it?” The priest said to me: “They were being tested to see if they were obedient!” As we know they did not pass the “test” and were evicted from Eden and here we are!

And ever since I was a child, one of the things I have had the most trouble understanding is: which came first, God, or the Universe?

Reading in Genesis, we are told that God created every thing. The problem is, I believe that the universe was there before God existed. Why? Because when God appeared in any place, that place was already there, including the whole universe and the infinite.

And then, God saw the earth and it was chaos. So He separated the waters from the land and named day when the sun gave the light. He also called night when the earth rotated and met the moon. It is really mind-blowing the idea of Him creating out of nothing all the animals, fruits and vegetation, insects, fish, and thousands more. But when He created Adam and Eve He used dirt! It is hard for me to comprehend that the inside of both of them was made of dirt!

Well, who I am to question these things! A chaplain on one occasion said to me: “When something that God made or how is God do not try to make sense of it. Just have faith and believe!”

Work is essential for all the people in the world. Actually, everyone should work. There are a thousand kinds of work. People with good economic means usually can get a better education than the rest of the majority. Nowadays, with the high degree of technology it requires, a person needs not only money but also a high degree of intelligence. If you have those ingredients you could become a doctor, lawyer, engineer, architect, scientist and many other professions that are needed and are very well remunerated. Unfortunately the majority of people do not have the means to become a successful professional. Regardless every person must work and be self sufficient. Some people are unable to work and I understand that a person with certain disabilities cannot hold a job. They become a burden for the rest of society. But then there are those few people who actually believe that they don’t have to work and should be supported by the rest of us. These people are parasites and should be eliminated. Not one deserves a free ride.

The human brain is one of the most important parts in the human body. It has a fantastic capacity to learn, invent, and discover thousands of things in this world and the entire universe. It is amazing that in the whole population of the world not two brains are identical. Nevertheless, the brain has the power to think, and we think of a thousand things, trivial things, important things, magnificent things, mysterious things.

We can also imagine things. One good example is the novel writers. They invent events or episodes that never existed as the product of their imaginations.

Also, certain elements think of doing evil, like killing, robbing, raping, abusing, destroying, etc., and we can think of going into war with somebody or someone that does not fit our expectations. We had two world wars that were catastrophic for some people and one nation was able to stop the Holocaust that was the product of an evil mind that we could not have tolerated. The next two wars were a product of differences in beliefs or creeds and the need to conquer and eliminate other nations.

Everything is the product of the brain, one person thinking either good or bad thoughts and then acting upon them.

Modern medical science has been able to determine all the parts of the brain and know the areas involved when we are happy, angry, sad and in love. At this time I don’t know if they know where the area of our subconscious is located. I don’t know how far the medical scientists have gone in monitoring the subconscious mind. I believe that with all the technology we will never know 100% of the human brain (mind).

One of the most important discoveries is the area in the brain related to sexual orientation. Further studies made in Europe revealed that a male homosexual’s sexual orientation area is identical to a straight female’s. And on the opposite side, the sexual orientation area of a female lesbian’s brain is identical to a straight male’s. For this reason, a gay man will be attracted to another man because he sees him as a woman. By the same token a lesbian will see a woman as if she were a man! To me this is a mystery .!

Life, in its most simplistic definition, is to breathe. If you breathe, you are alive and of course you have life. To define life in general is quite complex and difficult. Some people claim they have a wonderful life. I suppose, for them, everything is perfect. No worries of any kind, plenty of money, material things, excellent health, perfect relationships with everyone, a very fulfilling job with a handsome salary, many perks and plenty time off for vacation in any part of the world. Is this possible? If that what makes a good life.

And what about if they get sick, have a death of a dear relative or friend. Are they having a good life when that happens? When you experience sadness, stress, anxiety, injustice, and many other negatives, are they having a good life then? I don’t think so. Our human nature can not let us do that.

Many people believe that persons with wealth and position in society are having a great life. Maybe, but problems in life appear from anywhere and good life sort of disappears.

Life, to me, is very complex, full of mystery, and hard to understand or comprehend. Certain events in society, politics, friends, jobs, etc., etc. can change your life completely.

Some people believe that they have a miserable life. Maybe they lost the job they had, they also get sick and have no money and no medical insurance! I believe I will not criticize them for believing so. I have come to realize that the best to approach life is not to worry about anything:Politics,News Media,Society,The Stock Market,Friends and family. Why? because worry about anybody or anything accomplishes absolutely nothing!Also,the least you care about anything is better for you!
