Soul and (or) spirit

From an early age we hear about in conversations the words soul and spirit. When we are old enough, our parents  send us to church (any denomination)to learn about God and his teachings from the Bible that we believe is the God himself.

The priest or minister or evangelist tell us that everyone has a soul and spirit. If you have faith and believe their teachings  you have no doubt about all the things they instruct us.Personally, I can not tell for sure that I have a soul or spirit. First  of all, I do not know where in my entire body the soul or spirit reside.I never tried to communicate with either one. I only can talk what I have in my brain.I have asked few people if they have had any talk with their soul, they tell that I am some kind of a crazy person! Someone  tell me that  is your feelings.I don’t know . I have feelings of love, hate, hunger and pain .According to the Church, when a person dies the soul will go to heaven or hell depending on how you have lived your life. They do not mention the spirit because the spirit will go back to God and the spirit is not affected by anything wrong you have done! All this is very hard for me to accept. Why? it does not make any sense!

Religious people tell me that I must have faith and if I don’t believe I will go to hell! I believe that my soul is my breath! If I am breathing  I am alive. When I die I had taken the last breath me and my soul are dead! yor soul will not exist any more. I do not believe that when I die will go any place!

What I believe  is in the resurrection of the body and soul when God ends everything and creates a new heaven and a new earth. All the people  will live in peace and harmony for ever and ever. How? With God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

  1. According to some churches, where you go when you die depends on whether or not you can stand blameless (“sinless”) before the Creator God. If you don’t believe in God, does that mean he does not exist? Let’s imagine that God does exist. So, when you die, you will stand before God and He will demand an account from you on how you lived the life he gave you, as He is the Judge (per the Bible, the Holy Word of God, says the church) How did you live your life? Did you ever do anything morally wrong? How do you know if whatever you did is morally wrong, anyway? What reference do you have on living life the way God wants? Do you know what is right or wrong in your brain? If you’ve done something wrong (and have gotten away with it) did it bother your brain? Did it give you a headache? Or did it get to your conscience? (What is the “conscience”, anyway?) If, as you say, “all the people will live in peace and harmony for ever and ever”, does that include people like Adolph Hilter? Stalin? Did they have a “spirit” that will go back to God because the wrong they have done does not affect them?
